    Biography

    Dodi’s background includes teaching in regular and special education settings and a clinical practice serving children and families for over ten years.  Dodi then moved to the prevention end of the human services continuum through work as youth development specialist for the MA Prevention Center in Framingham and subsequently as Director for the Center for Healthy Communities in Central MA. Currently she is an Associate with the National Center for Applied Prevention Technology at Education Development Center, Inc. providing curricula development, training and technical assistance in the implementation of effective solutions to substance abuse.  Dodi also teaches a “Grant Writing for Community Developers” graduate level course through Clark University’s International Development Community and Environment Department, and, together with the Central MA Area Health Education Center’s Outreach Worker Training Institute trains community health workers and patient navigators throughout the state.

    Dodi continues to work independently as coach, facilitator and trainer for community groups and non-profit agencies planning and implementing healthy communities approaches.
