Prista Ratanapruck, Ph.D.
IDCE Research Professor
Prista Ratanapruck will be joining IDCE in 2012-13 as a research associate. Prista has a PhD in anthropology from Harvard (2008) and was an assistant professor of anthropology at the University of Virginia from 2009 to 2012.
For the academic year 2012-2013, she has been awarded an SSRC grant to complete a book on the transregional economy of the Manangi trade disapora across South and Southeast Asia. She will spend most of the year in Nepal.
During short visits to Clark she will be working with IDCE and Asian Studies to help organize workshops of scholars to discuss Asian transregional issues.
