MLK's message resonates

Professor Ousmane Power-Greene (above) helped kick off the Jan. 20 day-long teach-in to celebrate and honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and to advocate for an America that embodies his vision of justice for all members of society. More than 600 students, faculty and staff came together for 30-plus workshops and presentations held across campus that explored the lessons in King's activism, and viewed his writings and oratory through the lens of contemporary politics and social movements.
