The second winningest coach in the 25-season history of Clark women’s soccer, Joe Brady finished for his 11th season on the Cougar sidelines following a 2011 campaign that saw Clark reach the tournament semifinals for the fourth time under Brady. In 16 seasons at the college level he has compiled 142 victories

During the 2005 campaign he led Clark to a 12-8-1 mark – the third most wins in a season in school history and reached the finals of the ECAC Tournament for the first time in program history.  Clark finsihed third in the NEWMAC conference and reached the NEWMAC semifinals.

Since 2005, Brady has served as Chair of NSCAA Division III New England Rankings Committee.

Brady has also spent time as a club soccer head coach and as part of the ODP staff, serving two stints (2000-02, 2009-present) as the goalkeeper coach for the Massachusetts State Olympic Development Team and as a head coach of the Inter Bandits from 2004-09.

His coaching credentials include a Advanced National Coaching Diploma and National Diploma from the NSCAA, and a U.S.S.F “C” license.

Prior to his arrival at Clark, Brady spent seven seasons at his alma mater, Anna Maria, helping build the AMCATS into a conference power and regional contender. He was named Commonwealth Coast Conference coach of the year in 1997 as Anna Maria advanced to its third CCC Tournament title game and won a school-record 17 games.

In addition to his coaching responsibilities at Clark, Brady oversees the University’s popular intramural program, is the department’s scheduling coordinator and serves as the department’s liaison to the Alumni Office.

He added the title of Tournament Director for the legendary Clark High School Basketball Tournament in 2010 after seven years as assistant director.
