Clark students provide support for recreational programs or volunteer in the Learning Center, which is a homework-assistance program. The Boys and Girls Club is located within walking distance to Clark.

Volunteers help set up, serve and visit with youth through this program. Kids Cafe is located at the Boys & Girls Club and takes place every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Woodland Academy serves k-6th grade and Claremont Academy serves 7-12th grade students in the Worcester Public School system. Located within walking distance from Clark, volunteers are needed at teaching aides in the classroom.
University Park Campus School/Goddard Elementary - Jessica Connie jconnie@clarku.edu
University Park Campus School serves 7-12th graders from the Main South neighborhood. There are many opportunities to serve at UPCS, but students are especially needed in the morning academic assistance session. Goddard Elementary serves k-6th grade students.

The Community Engagement & Volunteering Center sponsors many one-time service projects through the year, such as the Walk to Cure Cancer, Just Do It Day, Taking Steps to End Violence Against Women and Children Walk, and a Winter clothing drive. There are many organizations in Worcester that focus on hunger and homelessness. Clark students can volunteer at Jeremiah's Inn, the Mustard Seed, Frances Perkins, depending on your particular interest and schedule. Contact Julia for more information on how you can get involved!

Worcester has a diverse population and there are quite a few programs for students that desire to work with people from different cultures. Organization such as Lutheran Refugee and Immigrant Services and Worcester Housing Authority are a couple of organizations where Clark students typically volunteer.
