MUSIC 018
PRIVATE INSTRUCTION IN INSTRUMENTS AND VOICE

The Music Program offers private instruction in various instruments and voice for no credit to all interested students as space and scheduling permit. Music 018 instruction is designed for students who wish to develop their music performance skills for their own personal enrichment and for students planning to later enroll in Music 180 whose current level of performance needs to be improved.

Private lessons in Music 18 are for NON-CREDIT ONLY and require no prerequisite.

Length of Lessons

One hour lessons are available.

Enrollment Proceedure

DO NOT LIST MUSIC 18, PRIVATE INSTRUCTION, on your registration card.
All charges for MUSIC 018 will be billed to your student account as soon as you register. Please fill out the Music Lesson Information Form online.

Scheduling of Lessons

Faculty schedule their own lessons. Contact information for faculty can be attained in the V&PA Events Office, Estabrook Hall, Room 220.

Absences & Make-Ups

A student is allowed one make-up during the semester, i.e., one lesson excused with proper notice to the instructor. This lesson will be made up at the instructor's convenience. ADVANCE NOTICE (24 hours) of a lesson cancellation must be given to the instructor.

Fee Structure for Music 018 Academic Year 2007-2008

Private lessons: 12 one hour lessons (one weekly) per semester: $528.00
