Scott Silver '06 became the first Clark graduate to attend the American Film Institute. He was selected to be one of three national finalists for the very prestigious 2008 American Cinema Editors student awards. While at Clark Scott produced an eight-minute DVD titled "Beyond the Tour" as part of his senior honors thesis in screen studies.
Doug Lloyd '04 won the Best Narrative Feature Award for "Still Green" at the New England Film and Video Festival. Doug's company, Uncovered Productions, produced the film. The company's last film, "Freedom Park," hit theaters in 2004.
After earning an M.F.A. in Film Production from Boston University, Stephen Fromkin '95 spent several years as a freelance producer in Boston and Adjunct Professor of Film at Boston University. He moved to Los Angeles in 2003 and is now a partner, and CEO at inMotion Studios, a motion graphic design and production company. He has produced numerous independent films and continues to do so.
Filmmaker Avi Weider '94 received the Independent Feature Project Emerging Narrative Screenplay Award as well as the Panasonic Digital Filmmaker Grant Grand Prize at the 29th IFP Market in New York City in September 2007. Avi received the award and grant for his screenplay "Zeroes and Ones."
