Emily will be based in Nairobi, Kenya, for 2 years and travel to Tanzania and Mozambique to work with interdisciplinary project teams studying agribusiness expansion into forested landscapes by foreign and domestic investors. Emily's task will be to analyze the gendered dimensions of agribusiness investment and the integration of smallholders into these changing supply chains.
