Programs
The history department offers a major, minor and electives for undergraduates, an accelerated B.A./M.A. fifth-year free option for qualified Clark undergraduates, and a Ph.D. program.

Applying to the Ph.D. Program

Applications are currently being accepted for the Fall of 2006. Application forms can be downloaded here. Completed applications must be submitted in paper form.

The deadline for applying is February 1.

Please be sure all completed materials are received by that date.

An application packet will contain the following materials:

  1. Graduate school application
  2. Personal statement outlining your academic interests and goals
  3. Three letters of recommendation from individuals who know your academic qualifications
  4. Official transcript from each college/university attended
  5. Though not required, we strongly recommend that you take the GRE and have the scores sent to Clark. The school code is 3279.
  6. $50 non-refundable application fee
