Comparative Race and Ethnic Studies

Comparative Race and Ethnic Studies is an interdisciplinary concentration that enables students to examine relations within and between racial and ethnic groups primarily in the United States.

The concentration brings together a wide range of courses in the humanities and social sciences that allow students to compare experiences across racial and ethnic groups. The concentration also allows students to compare the U.S. experience with that of other racially and ethnically diverse countries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, past and present.
