  • Women of NASA
    Site encouraging young women to pursue careers in science, math, and technology. Includes profiles of female scientists, ideas for integrating the site's information into the curriculum, a bibliography, and more.

  • Women in Technology International (WITI)
    Portal for non-profit organization that supports the advancement of women in technology careers. Site includes topical content, profiles of accomplished women in technology, as well as information related to regional chapter events, professional development and education, and job listings. Several active Bay Area chapters offer events.

  • Association for Women in Computing (AWC)
    AWC's purpose is to provide opportunities for professional growth through networking and through programs on technical and career-oriented topics. AWC encourages high standards of competence and promotes a professional attitude among its members. AWC promotes computing education of women of all ages and encourages formation of student chapters at colleges and universities.

  • Advocates for Women in Science Engineering and Mathematics
    This organization seeks to bring together parents, educators, and professional women in science-related fields to foster girls' interest in science, engineering, math, and technology. This site offers suggestions for getting involved, activities for girls, a gender equity fact sheet and annotated bibliography of web and print resources.

  • Gracenet
    This organization works to promote the contribution of women in technology and to leverage women's intellectual and creative capital for the betterment of society. They seek to bring inspiration, support and funding to women in high technology. They have a San Francisco chapter which meets at Zeum. Information about their mentoring program is included in the website.
