Clinical Supervisor - Department of Psychology, Clark University (1995-present). Individual and group supervision of clinical psychology graduate students.

 

Psychology Intern - University of Washington Department of Psychiatry, University Hospital, & Department of Rehabilitation Medicine (1994 - 1995). Conducted       individual cognitive behavioral, group, and couples therapy for anxiety, mood, substance abuse, and a variety of other disorders. Also worked in consultation with physicians to provide psychological treatment for patients recovering from spinal cord injuries and multiple sclerosis. 

 

Staff Therapist - Psychological Services and Training Center (1988 - 1994). Conducted individual and couples outpatient psychotherapy with a variety of clients. Received hour for hour supervision in cognitive, behavioral, psychodynamic, and interpersonal therapy for mood, anxiety, and a range of personality disorders. 

 

Staff Therapist - Suicidal Behaviors and Research Clinic (1989 - 1991). Trained in and conducted individual Dialectical Behavior Therapy with chronically parasuicidal patients meeting criteria for Borderline Personality Disorder, under the supervision of Marsha Linehan, Ph.D.
