Bio: Andy received a Masters degree in fungal systematics from Dennis Desjardin at San Francisco State University in 2002, and joined our lab the same year.
Research interests: Andy's Masters thesis involved monographic and phylogenetic studies of the genus Gymnopus from Indonesia and related white-spored agarics. He is considering a Ph.D. project focusing on the evolution and ecology of the genus Calostoma.
