The Stevenish Career Management Center at the Graduate School of Management offers personalized services to our full and part-time graduate students throughout their time with us. We partner closely with you during your time at Clark University to guide you in achieving your professional goals.

Professional Development

Throughout your graduate program at the GSOM, the professional career management staff will work with you to set goals, develop a career plan, implement an effective internship and/or job search strategy, and conduct resume, cover letter, and interview and other career preparations. The career center encourages students to schedule an advising appointment to meet with career staff as often as needed on these and other topics as well as attend workshops and trainings scheduled throughout the academic year.

Employment & Internships

GSOM students have access to employment and internship opportunities provided to us from employers through the use of the center's online career system, GSOM Recruiter; the system, and all forms of social media, are utilized to ensure students are made aware of the latest opportunities. In addition, through established relationships, employers work with GSOM and career staff to bring full-time employment and internship opportunities to students. Career staff work closely with students to insure the best internship or employment option is made available to them.

Networking, Career Education, and Events

GSOM Stevenish Career Management Center welcomes employers and alumni to campus for students to meet with and learn from. Employers and alumni engage in career networking and education activities, including the Employer Showcase, Industry Career Panels, Alumni Networking Reception and Special Speaker Events. Students may take advantage of these opportunities to learn about various careers and industries, interact with key individuals and learn about full-time or internship opportunities. The Calendar of Events indicates the various career events and programs being offered throughout the academic year.

Alumni Services

The Stevenish Career Management Center is committed to working with GSOM alumni, providing career development, resources and networking opportunities, throughout all stages of their career to ensure their continued success. Alumni may always schedule an individual in-person or phone appointment with SCMC staff to discuss their career concerns or needs. SCMC also partners with alumni to bring opportunities to current students.
