Clark GSOM students have access to a wide array of campus resources and services. In addition to the campus-wide resources offered to all Clark University students, GSOM operates many of its own offices independent of the larger University, enabling us to provide a high level of customized service to our students. The following is a list of frequently utilized services.
Academic Affairs. Academic affairs manages all academic advising, planning and administration for current students. GSOM's advisors are Deanna Scaramangos, Program Administrator for full-time students, and Laura Burgess, Program Manager for undergraduates, accelerated and part-time students. Prospective students should contact the Admissions Office.
Admissions Office. Clark GSOM's Admissions Office is responsible for the recruitment, selection, pre-advising and initial enrollment of the GSOM student body, and can be reached at clarkmba@clarku.edu (MBA), clarkmsf@clarku.edu (MSF) or clarkptmba@clarku.edu (PT MBA).
Bookstore. Purchase books, school supplies and Clark items on-site or online at the Barnes and Noble-affiliated Clark University Bookstore, located at 918 Main Street.
Computer Lab. GSOM's Computer Lab is located on the 1st floor of Carlson Hall and is open from 8:30 AM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday, and 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. If you have questions about the lab, please contact Elena Ketnouvong, Office Coordinator. The Lab features private break-out rooms, which can be reserved through Laurie Kennedy-Yvanaukas, Assistant to the Dean.
Connect Newsletter. Connect is Clark GSOM’s alumni newsletter. Prospective and current students are welcome to check out the latest issue of Connect or the Connect archives.
Dean’s Office. The Office of the Dean of the Graduate School of Management is responsible for strategic oversight, direction and planning for Clark GSOM. Dr. Edward J. Ottensmeyer has served as GSOM’s Dean since 1999. To make an appointment with the Dean, please contact the Dean’s Assistant Laurie Kennedy-Yvanauskas.
Dining Services. Clark Dining Services offers the Higgins Café, located in Higgins University Center, featuring an expansive salad bar, grill, deli, international cuisine, bakery goods, soups and wholesome entrees. Meal plans are available to graduate students or just pay-as-you-go.
Goddard Library. Goddard Library provides 24-hour access online and extended lending privileges for graduate students. Currently under renovation to make way for the new Academic Commons at Goddard Library, the library will re-open in early September and the new plaza level will be open to the public in Spring of 2009.
Graduate Management Center. The Graduate Management Center (GMC) is GSOM's satellite location in Framingham, MA. Located at 1671 Worcester Road, 20 miles east of Worcester, it is conveniently situated near the intersection of Route 9 and Route 90. Both full-time and part-time students may take evening classes at this location. For questions or concerns about the GMC, please contact Kristine Norrman, Director of GMC by email or at 508-628-9599.
Clark GSOM offers a free shuttle that transports students from the main Worcester campus to the GMC. You must register for the shuttle to ride.
Health & Wellness. Clark University Health Services is a primary care outpatient clinic offering a variety of services provided by nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians and support staff.
Information Technology Services. The Student Help Desk can help you access your Clark account, store important course files, and connect you to the campus wireless system. If you need technical help, call the Student Help Desk at x7704 or email the Desk at sos@clarku.edu.
Intercultural Affairs. The Office of Intercultural Affairs serves as the primary advisor to Clark University’s international student body, and provides counsel on immigration issues. The OIA also serves to heighten cultural awareness among the entire Clark University student population, and hosts a number of annual multicultural and ethnic events.
OneCard Office. Pick up your all-purpose University ID at the OneCard Office.
Parking. Parking on Clark University property requires a valid decal. Forms and fees are available through the campus police. Parking regulations are strictly enforced, and decals are valid through August of the following year of purchase. A small commuter parking lot is located on Maywood Street, opposite Carlson Hall. Other commuter lots are located on Downing St. and Charlotte St.

Registrar’s Office/Student Records. GSOM's Registrar or Student Records office maintains the accuracy and integrity of all GSOM student records such as transcripts, enrollment verifications, and degree certifications. If you have questions about your academic record or student account, please contact: Mary Gamache, Coordinator for Registration and Student Accounts. If you need an official Clark transcript, please contact the University Registrar to fill out a transcript request form.
Small Business Development Center. The central chapter of the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Network is located in Carlson Hall and provides free and confidential one-to-one management advice and technical assistance to prospective and existing small businesses. Given our common interests, Clark GSOM and the SBDC collaborate to offer students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in entrepreneurship and the management of new ventures through internships and capstone projects.
Stevenish Career Management Center. (GSOM Career Services) Whether you are searching for the perfect internship, need help drafting a winning cover letter, or want to find a job in today’s competitive market, the Stevenish Career Management Center works with you to reach your goals. If you have questions about career services, please contact the Stevenish Career Management Center.
Student Employment. GSOM graduate students seeking part-time employment on campus are eligible to work for the Graduate School of Management as well as other departments and offices on campus. Available job openings within GSOM are announced through the GSOM Student Digest, while openings for the rest of campus are posted on the Office of Financial Assistance's Job Directory.
Student Services. GSOM’s Student Services Office is responsible for the student experience outside of the classroom, and serves as the advisor to student organizations.
