Is Clark University Graduate School of Management accredited?
Yes. Clark GSOM is one of the few institutions of its size to have its business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business-International (AACSB-International), placing us in the top 10% of business schools worldwide. We are also continuously recognized by the Princeton Review as one of the Best Business Schools in the country.
What does your AACSB International accreditation mean?
AACSB International, or the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International, is an organization committed to advancing quality management education worldwide. This accreditation is the highest a business program can receive, and both our undergraduate and graduate programs are accredited. We are very proud of this accreditation, and to maintain it we ensure that our educational programs and faculty meet the highest standards of achievement.
Where is the Graduate School of Management located?
Clark GSOM is located in Worcester, Massachusetts. Worcester is the second largest city in New England, and is situated in Central Massachusetts, about an hour from Boston, Providence, Hartford, and three hours from New York City. The city is known for its burgeoning biotechnology and engineering industries, and maintains an established foothold in education, healthcare, and manufacturing.
When was Clark University founded?
Clark University is a liberal arts research institution with a long and rich history. Founded in 1887, the university has remained purposefully small in order to encourage collaboration between students and faculty. The Graduate School of Management at Clark University was founded in 1982 to serve working professionals seeking graduate-level business education.
How many students attend Clark University and the Graduate School of Management?
About 3,400 undergraduate and graduate students attend Clark University, with approximately 300 of those students attending the Graduate School of Management. Clark GSOM is a small business school and our size allows us to offer a level of personal attention that is not available at larger schools of business.
Are there internships available for GSOM students?
Most of our students take part in an education-enhancing internship and can receive academic credit for their work. The The Stevenish Career Management Center at the Graduate School of Management offers a suite of services to our MBA, MSF, MSA, MSM, and dual-degree students, partnering with you during your studies to help direct your career development. Students do internships in the Worcester and Boston areas during the academic year, or elsewhere in the country or abroad during the summer.
Where are your recent graduates employed?
Management and finance alumni are employed with prominent companies and organizations throughout the world. These include Ernst & Young, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Deloitte, and JP Morgan Chase. Other alumni have significant roles with Reebok International, the World Bank, Bain Capital, UMass Medical Center, Fidelity Investments, U.S. Department of Revenue, and Environmental Defense Fund.
Do students have the opportunity to study abroad?

What are other ways students gain hands-on experience outside of class?
Aside from class projects that work with local and regional businesses, students learn valuable leadership skills by taking part in volunteer work and participating in student groups and clubs. Many students are active campus leaders in Student Council positions, or serving as residence hall advisors, athletic team captains, or officers in one of Clark's other student organizations. Clark hosts lectures and events throughout the year that highlight global business issues and successful business leaders' career paths. Past speakers have included Matt Goldman, Clark alumnus and co-founder of the Blue Man Group; Michael Eskew, chairman and CEO of UPS; and Natalie Gustafson, Emmy award-winning television producer. Career-related events regularly bring corporate executives to campus to personally meet and network with students.
What is the Graduate School of Management Metrowest Campus and where is it located?
The Graduate School of Management Metrowest Campus is a satellite location in Southborough, Massachusetts, conveniently situated between Worcester and Boston. It is located at the intersection of Route 9 and 495, both major routes in the state of Massachusetts. Both part-time and full-time students may take courses at Clark's Metrowest Campus.
Are there program advisors for GSOM students?
All Clark GSOM students are assigned an advisor to assist with course scheduling and choices.
