Full-time Courses and Requirements
The MBA program consists of 15.5 course units. In general, this includes 11.5 core courses and 4 electives, at least 3 of which are in your area of concentration. Classes worth 1.0 unit are in session for the duration of the 14-week semester, while 0.5 unit courses are just 7 weeks long or a half-semester.
If you have been working for three or more years in a professional position with managerial experience, you may qualify for our Professional Track MBA option. Depending on your work experience, you may be able to waive certain courses. If accepted into the Professional Track, your advisor will help structure your courses to meet the requirements of the program.
Courses are offered in the fall and spring semesters, during the winter and summer sessions, and online*. Clark holds classes on its main Worcester campus, as well as the Graduate School of Management Metrowest Campus in Southborough, which is conveniently located between Worcester and Boston.
*Currently, a select group of courses is offered online.
The MBA requirements posted in the current Academic Catalog are for pre-Fall 2016 enrolled students. If you are enrolling in the MBA program starting in Fall 2016 or later, your course requirements will fall under the new, 15.5 course unit, MBA program.
