Types of LEEP Center Fairs
Career and Internship Fair
Sponsored by Career Services, this annual fair is held in February and features over 35 employers interested in hiring Clark students for entry-level, full-time employment and internships. 2015 employer attendees included Dell/EMC, Community Harvest Project, FBI, Department of Environmental Protection, The McLean Center at Fernside, Public Consulting Group, Seven Hills Foundation, United States Peace Corp, UNUM, and Worcester Community Housing Organization. Students interested in finding a full-time job or summer internship are encouraged to attend.
Community Engagement and Internship Fair
Each fall, Community Engagement and Career Services sponsor this fair to help students find an opportunity that fits their interests and schedule. Over 25 local organizations offering internship, volunteer, and service learning opportunities attend. Recent attendees include the Greater Worcester Land Trust, Hanover Theatre, African Community Education, Pathways for Change and many more!
Sponsored by Academic Advising, this annual fair is an opportunity for students to meet with faculty from each academic department to discuss individual major requirements.
Study Abroad Fair
With over 50 Clark-affiliated semester and year-long study abroad programs offered to students, this annual fall fair gives Clarkies the opportunity to speak with program representatives and returned students.
Summer 101 Fair
Winter break is a great time to start thinking about summer! The LEEP Center hosts this annual fair at the end of fall semester to provide students with information on LEEP Projects, Internships, Jobs, Summer Courses, Funding Sources, Summer Study Abroad and more! Summer vacation is an ideal time for students to explore their interests, develop new skills and take part in career building experiences. Start with the LEEP Center; start early.
