So you want to Practice Interviewing?
We can help! Mock interviews are an effective way to prepare for job interviews, phone calls with potential employers or networking contacts, and fellowship or grad school interviews. If you have an interview coming up...
- Contact Career Services and schedule a mock interview. This is your chance to practice responding to typical questions and to get feedback on your presentation.
- Prepare to make the most of your mock interview. Read over the Career Services How to Guides for Interviewing. Plan to bring a copy of your resume and the job description to the mock interview. Make a list of questions or concerns related to your upcoming interview so you are sure to get everything answered.
- Follow-up after your real interview. Once you have completed your actual interview, return to Career Services for a follow-up conversation. These repeated meetings will help you develop your interview skills and establish connections with the Career Services staff.
