The Dean of the College is responsible for the development and implementation of undergraduate academic programs and policies, and the evaluation of teaching effectiveness. The Dean has broad responsibility for undergraduate curriculum, co-curricular activities, faculty development, and advising. The Dean of the College works closely with the Undergraduate Academic Board (UAB), the major faculty committee that reviews proposals for new courses, majors, concentrations and academic requirements and assesses existing programs and requirements.

The following departments report to the Dean:

  • LEEP Center, directed by Associate Dean Michelle Bata
  • Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL)
