Academic Internship

Employer Eligibility
To be eligible for academic credit, an internship must meet all of the following criteria:
- The location must be in a business-zoned area.
- Include a minimum of 140 hours completed over a semester or
summer (averaging about 10 per week).
- Include progressively responsible tasks, no more than 25%
clerical in nature..
- Provide supervision from an industry professional who is
accessible and on-site a majority of the hours.
Proposal Paperwork
Your intern will be required to obtain your signature on two documents in order to
apply for academic credit at Clark.

Evaluations
Career Services will contact you via email twice during the semester and
provide you with an evaluation form that is required in order for your
student to receive credit.
