Posting a Job or Internship
Job/Internship Listings: The Clark Recruiter
The Clark Recruiter is a free service that allows you to create and
manage your own job/internship postings, as well as receive resumes from
interested Clark students. It is intended for businesses, nonprofits and
government agencies that meet the eligibility criteria (listed below). Your
listing would become part of the database that Clark students are able to
access.
How Do I get Started?: Organizations who meet the
criteria are encouraged to apply for an account (it takes just one minute!) by clicking the “Clark
Recruiter" logo on this page (to the right), and then clicking on the
"Employers" icon and following instructions. It takes one
business day to find out if you are approved, via e-mail.
Organizations who expect to post and update positions
on an ongoing basis are highly encouraged to use The Clark Recruiter. If you do not
wish to establish a Clark Recruiter account, you may e-mail your listing as a
Microsoft Word document, or in the text of the e-mail (no PDF's please) to
careers@clarku.edu, and Clark Career Services staff will post it within two
business days. Be sure to include the website address, full contact
information, job title, duties/responsibilities, qualifications, and application
method.
Job/Internship Listings: Employer Criteria and Eligibility
The Clark Recruiter is intended to offer students a database of
career-oriented opportunities. Employers who request an account, or wish
to e-mail their description to us, should
meet the following criteria:
- Location in a businesses zoned area, and/or registered with the Better
Business Bureau.
- Inclusion of an organizational website and e-mail address.
- Offer of professional positions or academic internships (For more
information about academic internships,
- Commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity.
Third-Party Recruiting Policy: Employment agencies
and similar third-party recruiters who are able to offer opportunities that meet
the criteria above, submit listings only for specific positions, and
provide detailed job descriptions, may apply for an account.
Clark University Career Services reserves the right to
decline an organization access to The Clark Recruiter, or terminate an
organization's active password, if it determines that the organization or its
opportunities do not meet the criteria.
Liberal Arts Career Network: Reach 28 Liberal Arts Colleges
The Liberal Arts Career Network provides a job and internship listing
service that gives you the opportunity to reach students at 28 great liberal
arts institutions with just one posting, for free!
Visit the
LACN website for more information, and be sure to click on
"Participating LACN Members" to view a list of the colleges you can reach.
