Sociology

The Sociology major allows students to examine social processes through an investigation of diverse social institutions such as the law, family, medicine and religion, to acquire the conceptual and analytical tools to enhance both their understanding of their own lives and the world in which they live.  Emphasis is placed on methodological training to develop critical thinking, analytical, quantitative, communication and logical reasoning skills.
