Studio Art
(Visual and Performing Arts Department)
A major in Studio Art offers the opportunity to engage in the study and practice of visual language through artistic methods and media. Students learn to “read” images and are encouraged to create their own visions and stories in images. Areas of specialization include drawing, painting, graphic design, photography, printmaking, sculpture and video production.
