The Educational Testing Service (ETS) issued a press release on April 2, 2007 stating that planned changes to the GRE General Test, which were to be implemented over the summer, have been cancelled. According to the GRE website:
"ETS is canceling the revised GRE General Test because, on balance, officials believe the potential risk to testing access outweighed the benefits of immediately moving to the new format. The decision to cancel the launch was made with the best interests of test takers and score users in mind.
ETS officials will work with the GRE Board to implement some of the planned improvements to the General Test in the future. These planned improvements will be without the access issues associated with changing to an entirely new test delivered over a new testing network."

Meeting with an adviser in Career Services or in your major department is the best way to
start your search for a graduate or professional program. Together you can discuss your
options and develop a plan for completing the application process.
In the Career Services Library you will find books on writing your graduate
admission essay, sample study guides for the GRE, LSAT, GMAT and MCAT, and test
registration booklets. In addition there are publications such as the American Psychological Association's Guide to
Graduate Programs in Psychology, U.S. News and World Report's America's Best
Graduate Schools and several books on financing graduate education.
To help you complete your graduate school application, Career Services is happy to meet with you individually to answer questions or to critique your application essay. Each semester we offer a workshop on applying to graduate school in conjunction with Clark's Dean of Graduate Studies. In addition, we have partnered with Interfolio.com an online letter of reference / credential management service which allows you to store graduate school recommendations (and other documents such as your resume/CV, writing samples and transcripts) and have them sent to graduate programs while you are a student at Clark or later as an alum.
