To the Clark Community:
The Office of the Dean of Students is pleased to present you with this online version of Synergy, the Clark Student Handbook. It is designed to provide you with information we hope you will find useful in your life at Clark.
The section called “Ten Habits of Highly Effective Students” was prepared by faculty members and the Office of Academic Advising and is very good, practical advice on how to maximize your chances of succeeding in your academic life. The Code of Conduct section is a comprehensive look at the various policies at Clark and what you can expect from the community with regard to them. For those of you living in Clark housing, the section on Residential Life and Housing should answer any and all questions you have about facilities, programs, and policies.
We look forward to feedback on ways to improve this book and make it more useful to you. Please let us know in the Dean of Students Office if you have suggestions. On behalf of all of us in Student Affairs, we wish you a very productive and enjoyable year.
