Information for Students on Leave

Students away from Clark University may still participate in the Selection Process by mailing, faxing, or scanning and emailing their completed forms to RLH rather than submitting them in person. It is important to do the following:

1. Complete all forms required for your desired room assignment process in your My Lottery account.
2. Submit all materials to the Office of Residential Life and Housing before your selection process deadline. Remember more time is needed to allow for international deliveries. All deadlines apply to students on leave.
3. If you are participating in any Lottery Selection processes (Special Interest or Standard Lottery), you will need to assign a "Proxy" to select a room for you on your specific Lottery Night.  You must sign a Proxy Form indicating which student(s) can act on your behalf.  This form can be printed through My Lottery.
4. If you are requesting a medical placement, please provide us with your location preferences to ensure our office knows your desired housing assignment.

All students on leave must complete the My Lottery online registration process in order to participate in the Selection Process:

All forms received after the deadline will be added to the waitlist and will receive a housing assignment during the summer housing assignment process.

Please note: Students going abroad for the Fall 2012 semester should not participate in the room selection process.  These students will receive information about housing for Spring 2013 during the Fall 2012 semester.
