Clark University professor receives Fulbright to teach, conduct research in Korea Inshik Seol, associate professor of accounting at Clark University's Graduate School of Management (GSOM), has been awarded a Fulbright Scholar grant to lecture and conduct research at the Sogang University in Seoul, Korea during the 2008-2009 academic year. |

Clark selected David Blum '08 as the Fred Hebert Award winner and Heather Warren '08 was selected as the M. Hazel Hughes recipient at the 2007-2008 Athletic Awards program held at the Higgins University Center, Tilton Hall, on Tuesday night. Both awards are given annually to the male and female athlete who have made a significant contribution to the intercollegiate athletic program and whose dedication and performance have enriched the tradition of Clark Athletics. |

Approximately 200 people attended the dinner on March 28 in Tilton Hall. |

Hervey Ross Oratorical Contest brings historic speeches to life Eight Clark University undergraduates each made powerful presentations in the fourth annual Hervey Ross Oratorical Contest, held April 8 in the Little Center Theatre. The contest fosters the art of public speaking and oratory and is open to all Clark students. The theme of this year’s contest was "Equality, Justice, Freedom." The eight finalists were judged on their oratory skills as well as speech interpretation. |

Black Women's Health Summit at Clark May 10 The Fifth Annual Black Women's Health Summit, an interactive educational experience with presentations by notable health experts, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 10, in Tilton Hall, Higgins University Center, Clark University. The theme of the summit this year is "Making Healthy Connections for Mind, Body and Spirit."
