Dr. Robert Hutchings Goddard
Dr. Robert H. Goddard (October 5, 1882 - August 10, 1945) is best known for being the father of modern
rocketry. Because of his pioneering theoretical and experimental research, Dr. Goddard created many
techniques that are still used in rockets.
