The Clark University Brothers and Sisters program (formerly known as Big Brother/Big Sister) has been designed to create a stronger sense of community between Clark students and the children in the Main South neighborhood.

Our goal is to provide positive role models for children in the Main South neighborhood. We do this by pairing a Clark University student with an elementary school child. The two then spend at least two hours a week together doing whatever activities they choose. During the time spent with the child, the Clark student will provide guidance as well as an open ear to his/her child. The two hours are very flexible and are scheduled by the parent, child, and Clark student.

The C.U.B.S. program also sponsors events throughout the year for the children and their big brother or sister to hang out, try something new, and meet other members of the club. Events in the past have included trips to the Roger Williams Zoo, a Boston Celtics game, roller-skating, bowling, and holiday parties. Get ready for this year's upcoming events...they're going to be fun!
