Welcome Session for Families and New Students - Parents and students are invited to meet and talk with deans and directors regarding services and opportunities available to students.

Orientation Overview for Students - The Orientation Director and Orientation Coordinators will review the orientation schedule and help students become acquainted with one another.

First Year Student Session - The Orientation Coordinators
will answer questions about first year student life and experiences.

Transfer Student Session - Kevin McKenna, Associate Dean of the College and Director of Academic Advising will answer questions about transfer credits and student life for transfer students.

Writing Placement - All first year students are required to complete a writing placement exam. Students who have not been awarded transfer credit for a writing course from a previous institution will be required to complete a writing sample. If you have already completed this requirement plan to meet your Orientation Coordinator at the Information Desk during this session.

Math Placement Test - This placement test is required for students who plan to take either Pre-Calculus or Calculus in the spring semester.
Students planning to take the Math Placement Test will do so electronically. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Logon to Blackboard
2. Click on the Course tab
3. Click on the Math Placement link
4. Click the enroll button
5. Click the submit button
6. Click ok

Dinner with your Orientation Coordinator and Residence Life Staff - Orientation Coordinators and Resident Advisors will show new students “how the Dining Hall works” and eat together upstairs in the Winton Faculty Dining Room.

Course Overview and Academic Advising - Orientation Coordinators will review academic requirements and assist students with the beginning stages of the course selection process.

“Clarkies' View of the World ” - Orientation Coordinators and other student leaders share their thoughts on “Life at Clark ”, the opportunities for involvement, and strategies for mid-year students fitting in.

hypnotists/mentalists in the world today. He has been seen on ABC, NBC, CBS,

You may get your picture taken for your ClarkOne Card (ID) at the OneCard
Office located at 22 Downing Street, 2nd Floor. The hours this week are
Monday 10:00am - 4:00pm, Tuesday 11:00am - 3:00pm and Wednesday 10:00am -
3:00pm. You will need your Clark OneCard to access your residence hall,
eat in the dining hall, check out library books, and access athletic facilities.
